Description
The Business Development Representative acts as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams and responsible to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers through calling up and generating leads, nurturing, conducting lead follow up and building prospect relationships to move the opportunities through the sales funnel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build prospect relationship by initiating communication, identify the needs and challenges and determine prospect's interests
• Contact new leads derived from lists, emails, social media, referrals and other
lead source via email and outbound phone calls
• Conduct follow up via all channels to move the opportunities through the sales funnel
• Set up and schedule discovery meetings for Business Development Manager's and prospects
• Achieve [number] of activities per [day/week/month]
• Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
• Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Years of experience working in Business Development preferred
• At least 3 years of Outbound sales experience and/or appointment setting
experience preferred
• Goal-oriented and results-driven with ability to meet and exceed targets/KPIs
• Experience with CRM, Office365 and LinkedIn/Social Media preferred
• Excellent communication skills, phone manner and ability to relate to customers
• Honest, self-motivated and passionate to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Delivers positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward prospects and customers at all times.
