Job Purpose:
The Business Development Officer works with the department Head/Team Head in developing product plans and strategies to drive the profitability of Cash Management products and services to achieve overall objectives of the organization. He/She handles initiatives for assigned Cash Management product/s and service/s. He/She assists the Team Head in supervising and mentoring Business Development Associates.
Assists the Team Head in defining roadmaps, plans and strategies for assigned products/services to ensure that product features and functionalities are aligned with the needs of the target market as well as the objectives of the organization.
Prepares proposals and secures internal and external approvals for all products/service
Conducts regular research on market trends and competitor activities in order to identify new business opportunities and develop new product offerings.
Handles the preparation of product-related documentation (e.g. user manuals, process manuals, training materials etc.) and ensures that all documentation is complete and updated.
Assists the Team Head in the relationship and contract management of third-party partners or service providers
Develops and implements processes and other initiatives to support the assigned products/services
Job Qualifications:
College Graduate
At least two (2) years experience in the areas of business development, product management, project management, preferably acquired in the banking industry.
With knowledge in Financial analysis, Business Development, Product Management & Development, Financial Analysis and Accounting, System Development Life Cycle Leadership, Organizational & Management Skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Good analytical and project management skills
Good product and operational knowledge in banking
Computer-literate and technically competent (i.e. familiar with IT processes and concepts)
