Job Description
The Role
This role suits an independent hunter, preferably with existing working contacts from local or regional enterprises like Banks, Finance, Insurance, and E-commerce businesses.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound business opportunities. The candidate should have hands-on experience in building strong business relationships with mid-level and senior executives across multiple departments. They will work with the Head of Business Development to grow Moneymax's portfolio of partners.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is ambitious, enjoys challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Your Tasks
Build and manage relationships with the Philippines' largest and leading financial institutions
Lead new initiatives to grow revenue through new activities, campaigns and proposals
Assist with ad-hoc account management projects/analysis for management-level initiatives
Coordinate internal team on campaign execution and support
Skills and Requirements
Key competencies
At least 3-5 years of experience in business development/analytical role
Profound knowledge in developing and managing sales pipelines.
Desire for sales and an eye for business opportunities
Knows how to network and identify key stakeholders
Pro-active, driven, and self-motivated. Strong focus and able to thrive in a multi-tasking, faced-paced environment
Articulate and concise. Able to distill complex ideas in simple to understand terms.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Analytics
Data driven and attentive to details. Strong in problem solving and with an analytical mindset
Project management skills to lead initiatives in driving growth
Understands how to gauge and develop business opportunities.
Familiar with design and implementation of business development strategy
Organized - ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Good to have (but not mandatory)
Financial industry knowledge and/or exposure. Understands local market.
Understands online marketing concepts.
Proficiency with MS excel and powerpoint
