Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Business Development Manager role for Consumer Solutions, focused on Infrastructure and Professional & Retail segment in Building and Construction industry. The position will be responsible of local accounts in Philippines.
About You
The business development manager will have a high level of autonomy in developing new business. The incumbent is expected to be a self-starter and able to work at a fast pace in a very dynamic business environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Grows business by identifying new opportunities for unmet customer needs or new applications and converting growth opportunities to commercial success. Primary business focus areas: Infrastructure market in Philippines
Partner with our marketing department to conduct market research and develop a strategic business development plan for Infrastructure segment.
Enhance Professional & Retail (Trade Sealants) business model
Manage new customer relationship and executes strategic account plans to achieve sales goals in assigned territories, in alignment with business strategies and marketing plans
Builds relationships across multiple functions within internal and external customers and specifiers
Deliver an excellent customer experience for existing and prospective customers with a customer-centric mindset and ensure consistent experience across different touchpoints with Dow
Required Qualifications:
High level of commercial acumen (strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation)
Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and converting opportunities to sales
At least 5 years prior work experience in Account Management or Technical Service roles.
Existing understanding of infrastructure and concrete market will be highly regarded.
Track record in driving innovation programs is a plus.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Industrial Engineering or Business.
