Eskwelabs is an online data upskilling school based in Manila. We are on a mission to provide a fun and exciting way to learn the most advanced cutting-edge skills for people of any background through data education and job placement. Eskwelabs designs and delivers part-time blended learning programs that help workers launch new careers and upskill in data science skills.
Eskwelabs is a social impact startup, founded in Singapore with the support of international investors. Since 2019, Eskwelabs has served more than 3,000 learners. Our founders are recognized by Forbes as 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs and our programs have been certified by the Education Alliance of Finland for our excellence in pedagogy. Eskwelabs was the winner of the "Digital Skills for Today's Workforce" challenge organized by the Asian Development Bank for two years in a row.
Eskwelabs works with the talent ecosystem, companies and partners to reach diverse learners. In 2020, Eskwelabs added almost 100 companies to our talent partnership network and received incredibly positive feedback from companies who hired Eskwelabs graduates or received upskilling for their staff. In 2021 and beyond, we want to significantly grow our network of companies and institutions who can benefit from our upskilling solution. And the opportunity is huge - the digital economy has been accelerated by COVID-19 and companies across sectors are looking for ways to transform their businesses with data.
Our Partnership Lead will serve as the front-line in designing and implementing new outreach, partnerships and sales initiatives with the goal of generating qualified leads. They will also help optimize our business development operations.
What you will do:
Researching prospective partners and generating/maintaining prospect lists
Originating and deploying a variety of creative prospecting strategies (email, calls, webinars) to generate leads and matching Eskwelabs services to meet their needs.
Helping to identify the needs and challenges of target partners
Maintaining a feedback loop with product teams to ensure that our solutions and messaging are meeting the needs and challenges of partners
Lead partnership efforts to further Eskwelabs' participation in the Data for Good movement
What you'll need
Previous work experience, ideally in business development, stakeholder management and/or marketing capacities
Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Growth attitudes including the ability to embrace ambiguity and constantly test new ideas
Ability to build rapport
