Our respected client is seeking an executive with at least (2-5) years of experience in Transportation, Warehousing, Trucking, Freight Forwarding, and Contract Logistics operations for the position of Business Development Executive (Transportation). Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive (Transportation) will support the Business Development team with documentation of processes and programs
Key job responsibilities include:

Manages Client Pooling, Quotation, pricing, and furnishes weekly progress reports to management.
Prospects for potential new clients, cold call, and meet potential clients - research, build relationships, maintain, and leverage current network connections.
Work with internal team to develop proposals that fit to fully cater to client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
Manages client retention and enhance existing business relationship - offering new products and services.
Attend Industry functions and cascade event information to all concerns.
Assist in preparing service/sales contract - aligned to company rules and guidelines.
Assist to provide processes to improve service performance to customers and build brand loyalty.
Work with internal team to assist in developing proposals that fit to fully cater to client's needs, concerns, and objectives
Assist in the implementation and delivery of bid strategies leading to successful bids, including market research and intelligence
Ensuring that all bid and project documentation such as project plans, lessons learned, etc. are maintained to a high standard
Provide information and tender support to the Business Development team.
Ensure bid deadlines are met and feedback is collected on successful/unsuccessful proposals.
Leading or contributing to the development of improved internal systems and processes.
Managing and structuring the New Business folders.
Drafting briefing papers, correspondence, and other documentation for projects and the day-to-day running of a variety of functions as directed.
Carry out specific admin and spreadsheet tasks in relation to project work, as directed, by the Business Development team.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related course.
Knowledgeable and Exposure to Transportation, Warehousing, Trucking, Freight Forwarding, and Contract Logistics operations
With 2-5 years' work experience doing Strategic planning, project management, business development, lean operation & problem-solving, fieldwork, and with strong motivation.
Familiar with Contract Logistics operation, Manufacturing process operations & improvements, and business systems operation.
Knowledgeable in Documentation Compliance and Standard Procedures.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and autonomy will be required together with an ability to work under pressure in a variety of situations.
Good Communication skills, proactive, initiative, flexible, and wide network capacity.
