Job Summary
As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for building out the Philippine business brand portfolio for Intrepid. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply effective sales strategy to help expand Intrepid's clientele. You will be responsible for identifying prospective opportunities, developing customer relationships, implementing Intrepid marketing plans and you will also work closely with the regional team and Business Development leads from other countries on multi-country deals and sharing of best practices.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Establish sufficient prospective opportunities to meet strategic business plans.
Manage the end to end process of business development with clients, from prospecting to signing the contracts
Prospecting new clients through different means.
Arranging business meetings with prospective clients.
Promote the Intrepid's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
Preparing and managing contract signing & renewals ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
Collaborate with other departments and teams in building long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to drive growth and satisfaction of existing clients.
Drive and implement new initiatives: identify new business opportunities, client propositions and service & solution differentiators
Be an ecommerce industry expert to our clients: stay up to date about market & category trends, ecommerce insights and best practices.
Requirements for Business Development Director
Minimum of 3-4 years working experience business development or commercial role in ecommerce industry, preferred background with ecommerce platform, agency, retail or distributor or brand.
Understanding of the e-commerce landscape is must, knowledge in 3PL logistics/ ecommerce channel management is preferred.
Strong network with consumer brands and within the ecommerce industry.
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, both external as internal
Effective presentation and organizational skills
Results-oriented, ambitious, and self-motivated individual, with deeply entrenched professional integrity.
Time management and planning skills
Time management and planning skills
Ability to thrive effectively under pressure
Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint is a must, experience with CRM (Hubspot) is a plus
