Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate as a member of the Crisis Management Team (CMT) to coordinate response and management of any type of disruptive incident.
Assist in coordinating business continuity and recovery activities with the different functions and vendors to ensure plans are developed, maintained, and tested in support of business requirements.
Monitor and provide periodic updates to the relevant teams on a potential or ongoing crisis situation.
Communicate with the continuity and recovery teams during a crisis situation.
Report efforts to resolve high-impact risks, gaps and corrective action strategies and plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assure integration and compatibility of common response, priorities and planning efforts.
Coordinate and/or participate with projects relating to continuity and recovery processes, capabilities and other business continuity activities.
Assists in administrative requirements of the Business Continuity team and maintains documentation and repositories.
Assist in driving continued maturation of Athena's Business Continuity Program through developing the learning on accepted Business Continuity Management standards and best practices.
Kept abreast of current events in the Philippines on a daily basis particularly in events that may lead to any type of business interruption.
Engage in ad hoc tasks as required by the business.
Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of business continuity and recovery planning.methodology, frameworks and industry best practices and industry related standards (ISO, BSI, DRII, etc.).
Prior experience in the continuous improvement of Business Continuity Management methodologies in an IT / BPO environment or related fields such as Risk Management.
Ability to coordinate during a crisis, emergency, disaster or security event.
Project management experience with strong analytical skills in planning, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving necessary to establish standards and implement complex business continuity plans.
Have used Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a unique, complex, fast paced and rapidly growing business environment.
Availability when needed on a 24x7 basis and ability to participate in on-call and shifting schedule(s).
Have experience in coordinating with external parties such as critical suppliers/vendors (as needed) and government agencies.
Must have basic knowledge of Philippines geographical orientation.
Willingness to travel for ocular inspections and other matters relating to business continuity.
