QUALIFICATION :
Knowledge of relevant financial laws and regulations in the Philippines, including BIR, SEC, PEZA, BOI and other regulatory bodies applicable to manufacturing industry.
With experience in compliance or audit roles is beneficial, especially dealing with local laws, regulations, and tax requirements from a manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standard, financial accounting, taxation and auditing principles.
Proficiency in Philippine tax laws and regulations, i.e. income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and withholding tax, as applicable to the JCX manufacturing operation. This includes preparing tax returns and ensuring tax compliance requirements.
Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends, in order to assess compliance risks, detect anomalies, and develop strategies to maintain compliance. Attention to detail is also vital in ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, adherence to compliance processes, and identification of any potential issues.
Effective communication skills (oral and written) in liaising with internal/external stakeholders and government agencies and handling complex financial information, providing compliance guidance, and collaborating with external auditors or regulatory authorities.
Adherence to professional and ethical standards in handling sensitive and confidential financial information.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, preferable with CPA license.
At least five (5) years of related experience in Finance
Work experience in a Manufacturing industry and a PEZA registered company is an advantage.
