Description:
The Product and Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading the creation and promotion of new products aligned with the plans and strategies to meet customer needs, wants and requirements.
» Contributes to the Category/Group innovation roadmap and process by developing new product ideas and concept with Management, Marketing, Business Development and other cross-functional teams located on consumer insights.
» Prepares the Product Development project plan and ensures the quality and timely execution.
» Reviews recipes and detailed preparation procedures/methods/technique for the subordinates and production people to follow and supervises the coordination with cross-functional departments.
» In charge for promoting new products in the market through brand consciousness and other marketing strategies.
Requirements:

» Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any related course.
practice:
» Background in Marketing or Brand Management is a big plus.
» With at least 5 years proven managerial practice in Research & Development of an FMCG company with managerial capacity.
» With advance expertise in Production Development Strategy, Product Concept Engineering, Food Product expertise and Formulation, Food Chemistry and Analysis.
» Proficient in Prototype Sample Development, Yield Calculation & Costing, Packaging Design & Technology, Process Design & Preparation Methods, Food Safety & Microbiology, Quality Management System, Regulatory Compliance, Industrial Design and Manufacturing Operations Support.
» Able to handle responsibility and the pressure of meeting deadlines.
» Amenable to work in Makati City.

SL Agritech Corporation SL Agritech Corporation is one of the Major Top Producer of Hybrid Rice in the Philippines.
At present, SLAC has more than 3,000 people in its research, production and administrative facilities located in Makati City, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan and Davao Region. Information technology now has three commercial hybrid rice seeds, the SL-8H, SL-12H and SL-18H which are all proven to be high-yielding varieties that could thrive on both wet and dry seasons. These are being distributed in the Philippines and exported to Vietnam, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia and India.
Aside from the production of commercial hybrid seeds, the company is also involved in milled rice production through a network of contract growers who exclusively grow the Doña Maria® Premium Quality Rice and Willy Farms® Rice. These packaged rice products are available in major supermarkets and are being used by hotels, restaurants and catering services all over the Philippines. The company also exports its premium rice to North America, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Israel, Pakistan, Australia, Singapore, Guam and Marshall Islands.
