Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with Service Engagement Managers or Project Managers, interface with users, vendors, and other IT groups during planning and execution phases of projects to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel over business strategies.
Develop documentation on business and user needs, objectives and system requirements specifications of both internal and external clients of Cebu Pacific.
Develop functional specification and system design specifications for client engagements.
Lead testing efforts and participates in quality control, acceptance testing and the implementation of application systems.
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
Analyze broadly-defined area and use functional decomposition to define high-level epics and stories to create a well-organized, value-driven framework to provide the required business value in the Product Backlog.
Writing individual stories that are very clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team.
Integrate the needs of related projects as well as the needs of stakeholders to produce an overall solution.
Basic Qualifications:
Preferably a college graduate in any related course to Information Technology or Industrial Engineering
Must have at least 3-4 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Must have strong background in project management, systems and procedure documentation.
Must have at least 1 year experience of both Agile and Waterfall Methodology
Trainings and/or Certifications on any of the following are a huge advantage - Agile BA Training, ITIL, Airline Business Applications, Business Process Engineering.
Critical thinking, problem solving and interpreting complex business periodicals, journals and technical procedures is a must for this role.
Must have some knowledge in a recognized project management methodology and IT project management framework.
