BUSINESS ANALYST - REMOTE
Primary Responsibility: The Business Analyst will perform a role in researching, assessing, analyzing, defining, designing, configuring, documenting and testing detailed business requirements for various project implementations for BillingPlatform. The person will also provide implementation support for key business application goals to support the delivery of comprehensive solutions and integration with other systems in the overall client solution architecture. Daily activities will include resolving business and usability issues, identifying and driving end-user adoption, and facilitating communication within the internal teams, working closely with clients to define application metrics, reports, dashboards, data mapping, and other integration requirements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise wide systems across functional areas
Analyze business requirements and develop detailed systems requirements, clearly stating project scope
Act as liaison between business units and Project Team in all areas of support and enhancements. • Interact daily with business units and business owners to understand business processes and key requirements, proactively work to resolve client issues
Gather, create and document current and future business process flows.
Create clear, concise and complete functional specifications & requirements documents.
Conduct analysis of systems specifications and use analysis / diagramming tools to represent business / technical processes
Perform application configuration, testing and evaluation to ensure quality and consistency
Apply deep functional knowledge in a variety of areas to customer needs and requirements
Develop conversion and system implementation plans
Recommend changes in development, maintenance and standards
Train user and support personnel in the use of various systems and processes
Manage change communication and coordinate end-user training for system implementations
Identify current data gaps
Prepare and perform data conversion requirements
Define system interface requirements.
Work directly and effectively with client implementation team.
Assist project managers with project implementation tasks
Analyze and update the configuration of the BillingPlatform application to address the business requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in the field of Business Systems and IT as a functional analyst
5+ years of experience in the software development industry.
Strong experience with business systems, databases and reporting tools.
Strong experience with cloud-based systems.
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, technical and non-technical personnel.
Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills. Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others who may have different skill sets, backgrounds and positions within and external to the organization
Experience in business analysis work in the airline, utilities and/or telecommunication industries are/is a plus.
Experience in dealing with customer care systems (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge in SQL and able to create SQL-based formulas.
Knowledge in JavaScript is a plus.
Self-motivated, independent, and possessing the ability to learn quickly
Ability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies
