We require a Tech BA to work with our BA Team and the business to support the development and improvement of technology on numerous different projects. Reporting directly to the Lead Business Analyst, the incumbent will need to ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered.
The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are:
Elicit, analyse and document business, stakeholder and solution requirements.
Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews with cross-functional stakeholders and gather detailed technical requirements
Undertake gap analysis (As-Is and To-Be processes) and provide recommendations
Develop functional specifications and provide a deep functional understanding of IT solutions
Analyse systems, processes and produce detailed process mapping
Define solution options, recommend solution and collaborate with key technical stakeholders to design and implement solutions
Deliver clear and persuasive presentations of findings and recommendations to business stakeholders
Enhance business systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities
Provide advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences using common language
Work with key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing IT solutions
Work closely with the project teams - PM's architects, developers and testers.
Drive business initiatives to completion using the project management principles
Demonstrate strong negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
The person must be comfortable with:
Microsoft Visio, Office 365 applications
Working with complex IT systems
SQL knowledge is desirable and added advantage
Requirements:
Essential:
Experience in Retail Domain is a MUST
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in delivering complex IT Programs/Projects
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing and management skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly assimilate information including the ability to interpret and then document requirements
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and approach to work and providing solutions
Strong attention to detail
End to End business analysis experience including experience in Business process modelling (BPMN)
Experience working in large, complex projects in an unpredictable and dynamic environment with competing priorities
Desirable:
Relevant industry certification in Business Analysis and sound knowledge of BABOK
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, D365 or ERP systems, Cloud technologies and Dell Boomi
Previous experience in development will be highly regarded
