The Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting analysis and documenting for new and existing customers with regards to user stories, configuration changes and gap analysis while actively engaging in ad-hoc support and quality assurance tasks.
Principal Accountabilities :
Analyse customer requirements to generate user stories
Document business requirements for both internal and external stakeholders
Evaluate configuration changes to support business processes
Provide gap analysis for new and existing customers
Generate associated documentation of analysis conducted
Demonstrate product functionality to internal and external users
Deliver a high level of support to a global customer base
Review ad-hoc testing items under the Quality Assurance team
Offer direction for junior members of the team
Maintain clear and regular communication with relevant Merlot individuals
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Relevant computer science or the equivalent bachelor's degree
5+ years of previous experience in a similar role
Deep understanding of airlines information systems, with a preference for operational systems
Knowledge of software development cycle and structure
Problem solving and sound judgment in relation to technical matters
Essential
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Level of flexibility while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Desirable
Passionate about the airline industry
