The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will provide assistance in support of the company's requirements, in the aspect of planning, performance management, and special projects management.
How you'll contribute
Prepares rolling expectations and budgets based on a thorough analysis of prior year P&L and current year performance against budget to assist the various units under the Segment.
Builds and updates financial/ product profitability models (whether pertaining to specific programs or products or channels) based on a clear understanding of consumer businesses to support decision making for the Segment Head.
Prepares financial projections and business plans based on collaboration with Business Heads for special projects which are usually business opportunities that can support the attainment of the Company's vision.
Ensures the team's full compliance to process manuals and to applicable regulatory/ audit/ compliance standards by keeping abreast of them to prevent audit findings.
Builds and designs reports and presentation decks by collecting the relevant information for the Business Head's needs.
What we're looking for
Must be a Bachelor's Degree holder for Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies, Finance/Accountancy or any related courses
Should have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Should have a knowledge of accounting and finance concepts; Knowledge of financial modeling
Must have strong analytical and computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint; Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Conflict management and problem-solving skills; Project management skills
Must be able to digest and simplify technical information and have effective discussions or make effective presentations on it
Must be keen to details and notices discrepancies/inconsistencies/ abnormal trends/ illogicalities
