Provide support to business areas, investigating operational related problems/inquiries, and recommending and implementing solutions . Develop business requirement documents and specifications . Work as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes . Analyze data and work with management to develop creative solutions. . Coordinate recommended process changes, enhancements and product implementations including test plans to ensure successful implementation . Act as business unit liaison with other business units including Information Systems, etc. . Assume the role of technical expert responsible for developing and guiding more junior team members . Identify and recommend staff training needs in response to process changes or new product/system implementations Key Shared Accountabilities: . Bachelor's degree preferred . 2 - 3 years of business experience including progressive business analysis experience . Very good understanding of the business unit including product offerings, and service and management structure . Good understanding of project management methodologies and workflow design . Ability to influence and negotiate with others to meet project deadlines . Understanding of system design and analysis and user testing. . Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills . Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels. . The Asia Treasury Cash Management Program is a multi-year Treasury technology implementation program budgeted at $7+ million USD that will implement the target treasury operational model, innovative payment solutions and infrastructure across Asia by extending the INFOR Enterprise General Ledge system to include the Treasury modules: Cash Book, Accounts Payable, and Cash Treasury Management. The Program will drive process improvements and organizational change in Asia Treasury Operations (ATO), as well as, local finance and operational areas reduce costs by shifting resources offshore, reduce infrastructure costs, reduce required cash balances, and generate higher annual cash yields. The position of Business Analyst, Asia Transformation - Treasury is responsible for implementing cash management and payment solutions to support increasing Asia payment volumes with automated processes, systematic controls and enhanced security across Asia. Key Responsibilities: Lead the detailed end-to-end business analysis activities and system setup requirement documentation i.e. current and future analysis, banking payment requirements and Infor ERP setup requirements Responsible for modeling business and data mapping requirements from various system sources to Treasury Management System (Infor). Develop and deliver treasury feed transformation and mapping requirement documentations. Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test results i.e. treasury data feed validation, functional, end-to-end and LIVE testing Change management support for process re-design, UAT and user training as well as post-implementation warranty support and troubleshooting Collaboration with local Treasury Ops (DTOs), Asia Treasury Project / Ops, MBPS SSC, ADO (Asia Data Office) and other technology groups-local IT, FP&M and GFT Knowledge/Skills/Competencies/Education: Work experience in the financial services industry (insurance / banking / wealth management) 3-5 years of progressive business analysis experience leading large-scale system or business process improvement projects. Exposure to systems integration implementation (especially with a Treasury Management or Payment System is an asset) Experience in data mapping from multiple sources Strong experience in gathering and documenting business and system requirements Ability to liaise with developers and system experts to develop robust solutions Understanding of corporate payment solution and banking communication channels - SWIFT / H2H / API / is an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to support deep dives into business operational problems and able to evaluate impact and opportunities Confidence and comfort with exploring/investigating new applications and technologies Ability to work independently under a tight deadline in a detail oriented environment Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Flexibility to accommodate and work in a dynamic and changing environment Problems/Challenges: Managing competing priorities that are high profile with multiple stakeholders. Participating in early stages of rolling out agile project management practice requiring training, uncertainty, resilience, quick learning skills, and adaptability. Working with subject matter experts, in multiple locations and time-zones, across departments and divisions and the need to accommodate global schedules.
