Job overview:
As part of the RingCentral Global Operations team, you will help plan, coordinate, implement and supervise the ways we share RingCentral's message with the world. You'll use data, technology, and creativity to target, communicate, measure, and adjust with precision- and share the story of a new, reimagined age of business communication with the audiences who want to hear it most.
The Business Analysis Manager will be responsible for working across multiple departments to support business process redesign initiatives and optimize operations within the Sales organization. This analyst will start primarily on creating structured management reports and dashboards to supervise daily sales operations and assess periodical performance. With enough understanding of the business operations, the analyst will collaborate with leaders across different departments to improve existing reports and dashboards, provide data direction analytics, build new management tools, identify improvement opportunities and recommend decisions on key operational concerns.
Reporting to the GTM Analytics AVP, the manager will support sales initiatives through the identification of opportunities, creation of project plan, database modeling, interpretation of analysis, recommendation, implementation, and measuring and monitoring results.
This role requires strong database manipulation and analytical skills, project management skills, and the ability to cooperate with cross-functional teams (e.g. data engineering, data science, finance). Projects are likely to focus on improving operational efficiency and maximizing sales opportunities.
In addition, the role will:
Identify improvement opportunities and develop creative solutions that optimize sales operations
Provide analytics support for management to gain insight and drive business planning based on data and statistical methods
Work closely with sales directors to improve analytical tools
Develop periodical performance monitoring dashboards, reports, and metrics
Drive project breakthroughs from concept through project closure
Actively drive project status reporting, issue identification, and risk management
Assess and document key steps: problem statement, process flows, gap analysis, solution recommendations
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - establish relationships, prioritize tasks, achieve milestones
Facilitate meetings and project work across multiple locations including global offices
Essential Skills:
Confirmed experience of at least 4 to 5 years of business process design or consulting experience
Adept in SQL
Exposure to driving Data Analytics and Process Review and Improvement
Ability to work on large databases and synthesize them into useful reports (e.g. revenue/Return Of Investments) and dashboards
Experience documenting processes using project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Has people management experience of at least 1 year
Excellent oral and written communication skills including listening and presentation skills
Qualifications:
Graduate of a degree in Statistics, Engineering, IT, or related discipline
Knowledgeable with ETL, Data Structures, and Database management
Ability to inspire change and influence individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to gather, interpret and apply critical thinking to data to help advise decisions
Strong analytical, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
Ability to think and influence both at the strategic and execution level
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work in a self-directed manner
Amenable to work on a night shift schedule (e.g. 12 am to 9 am MNL, Tuesday to Saturday)
Nice to Have:
PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL certifications
Knowledgeable in using Salesforce as a CRM tool
Ability to create statistical reports (e.g. Sampling, the test of Variance, t-tests, ANOVA)
ETL experience
Proficiency in Hadoop, Big Data
