Key Responsibilities:
Ensures proper maintenance and safety of the National Office interior and exterior environment.
Responsible for the safety of the premises and ensuring the non-occurrence of facility-related accident that is caused by poor maintenance. Ensures that machines and equipment are kept in good working order and condition.
Plans, schedules and coordinates the general maintenance, major and minor repairs, and renovation and improvements of the WVDF National Office to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, safety, and security standards.
Ensures that the National Office premises are kept in good order - corridors, common areas, and Fire Exits are clear of any obstructions; trash from the building is managed properly including lawns, garage, storage, and parking spaces.
Coordinates the work of National Office housekeeping personnel and ensures that services are provided efficiently and in accordance with the contract agreement between the organization and the service provider.
Implements the recommendation of the Corporate Security subject to budget availability.
Participates in the review of performance and or selection of vendor/service providers for regular maintenance of major equipment and machinery such as the building air conditioning system and elevator.
Investigates complaints, disturbances, and violations and resolves facility-related problems.
Compliance with Government Requirements - Monitors and ensures timely application/renewal of government-related requirements of the WVDF Ministry Facility. This includes the business permit and its sub-requirements, signage permit and annual building inspection requirements.
Provides technical support to Field and Cluster Offices in the selection of office space and layout design
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the evaluation of proposals related to project/program construction projects (subject to schedule and availability).
Supervises the work of direct reports in ensuring adherence to standards, and proper procedures. Provides back up coverage to staff and operation if needed.
Provides leadership (coach, mentor, and disciple) and spiritual nurturing to direct reports.
Monitor direct report's learning and development progress.
Ensures Performance Objectives and Appraisals are managed effectively.
Submits monthly and annual facilities report on the following areas but are not limited to housekeeping, safety, repair and maintenance, occupancy related expenses.
Work with the Administration team in ensuring the regular update of the list of WVDF- owned and leased properties and the timely updating and reporting of these in the Global Real Estate & Asset Management Portal.
Participates in the development of the Supply Chain and Administration Department's long-term and annual plans, and strategies that are aligned with the organizational objectives.
Assists the manager in the planning and development of policies and procedures related to the operation of the Facilities Section and ensure its proper implementation.
Participates and provides support in the organizational and team spiritual formation activities.
Models biblical ethics, Christian values, and beliefs in action and lifestyles while in and out of the performance of duties.
