QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2-year diploma in a related field, with a minimum 2 years bookkeeping
Must have excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade computer skills, as required. Knowledge or experienced in accounting system is a plus but not required
Demonstrated ability to perform multi tasks in an environment where priorities can change rapidly
Good time management skills and the ability to anticipate and manage a changing workflow
Good oral and written communication skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Good skills in the applications of the general principles and practices of modern accounting and auditing; good skills in reviewing and analyzing accounting transactions.
Ability to analyze financial transactions and make original or adjusting entries; ability to read and comprehend financial transactions; ability to trace transactions through financial records.
Performs bookkeeping and bank deposits & reconciliations, accounts payable and other client payments
Maintains bookkeeping files
Assists in the preparation of financial statements, cost reports and bank reconciliations as needed.
Interpret contracts provisions in order to identify allowable/non allowable expenditures.
Post transactions involving cash receipts, disbursements and/or accounts payable and receivable to ledger accounts.
Prepares and maintains Receiver General, employee benefits and other mandatory remittances
Provide technical assistance on the preparation of reimbursable
Open, sort and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
Provides back-up Accounting Team Leader support
Performs clerical and other related duties as required documents to the contractors, subcontractors or other agencies.
Knowledge in BIR mandated rules and regulations
