We are on the lookout for an experienced bookkeeper to be part of our team.
Job functions:
Maintain bookkeeping records for multiple clients, including record of general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliation of bank statements.
Familiar with Australia regulatory reporting requirements - Business activity statement (BAS), Income Activity Statement (IAS), Superannuation, Single Touch Payroll (STP) is preferred.
Direct communicate with clients on email or over the phone.
Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification & requirement:
Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping practices and procedures is an advantage.
Certified Pro Advisor for QBO and Xero accounting platform.
Experience in processing payroll.
Accuracy and attention to detail with track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Ability to work independently with little supervision, organize and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail with an exceptional level of accuracy.
Ability to interpret data and make cost-effective decisions.
Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with deadline pressure.
Demonstrated ability in dealing directly with clients.
