Career development and overall workplace happiness Qualifications: bookkeeper that is experienced with XERO and MYOB and QuickBooks if possible. also need them to be able to prepare BAS returns and be able to prepare some of the Taxable payment annual returns for the contractors a team player main gap needed to be filled is assistance with bookkeeping and BAS. Duties and Responsibilities: Resolve and advise on bookkeeping / business issues and recommend viable solutions or strategies both for internal and external clients Identify opportunities for clients Develop and maintain excellent client relationships Prepare monthly and quarterly activity statements Prepare payroll and superannuation reconciliations Prepare end of year payroll requirements Prepare client budgets Coordinate with the team to ensure that clients' bookkeeping needs are met Undertake meetings with designated clients and provide advice where needed Follow up on all meetings and correspondence on a timely basis Gain a full understanding of the client goals and objectives and assist wherever possible in achieving these for the client Allocate and communicate with client on value added work on a timely basis to ensure needs are met Proactively contact clients throughout the year Refer across to other business departments during the year to meet clients' needs e.g. MPM Finance, Wealth Creation and PTS Provide additional information and advice to clients where relevant and useful on an ad hoc basis i.e. industry articles, benchmarking etc. Deliver value added services to clients in relation to strategy development and implementation i.e. business improvement Ensuring portfolio details on the system are up to date and accurate Ensuring effective time management Regular timesheet preparation Location: Clark
