OPPORTUNITY:
As CLEAR's Bookkeeper, you will:
Provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts and preparing reports
Assist the supervisors and/or managers in producing financial reports
Process and maintain financial documents as needed by the clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recording of financial transactions and complete the posting process to Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based bookkeeping systems
Reviewing of account codes and re-coding of transactions
Processing of purchase and sales invoices
Preparing payments of accounts payable
Reconciling of bank transactions, general ledger accounts and other accounts
Reviewing and balancing of Balance Sheet and P&L account codes
Encoding and posting of journal entries
Preparing of monthly management/financial reports
Preparing of draft Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for review by the Accountants
Processing of payroll and reconciling of accounts related to payroll
Assisting with responding to auditor requirements
Assisting with requests from the corporate secretarial and admin staff
Performing other tasks as required by the client and management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2-years exposure in handling AUSTRALIAN account
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
At least 3 years Accounting-related experience, including 1 year exposure in auditing
High level MS Excel skills and proficiency with MS Outlook and MS Word
Working knowledge on Xero, MYOB and/or other cloud-based accounting system
Fit to work status upon completion of Pre-Employment Medical Exam with drug test
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting/bookkeeping principles and procedure
High degree of English proficiency (verbal and written)
Proactive mindset with great organisational, interpersonal and time management skills
High calibre accuracy and attention to details
Flexibility to perform relevant admin tasks as required by the clients
Initially, this role will be reporting remotely (Work from Home set-up). Work location, once physical presence is required onsite, is in Paseo de Roxas, Makati City.
The minimum IT requirement is at least 10mbps internet speed, preferably on a postpaid plan with back-up internet connection (CLEAR Corporate provides fixed Internet Expense subsidy).
CLEAR may provide the PC set to NCR or near NCR-residing employees. If you opt to use your own equipment, below is the minimum requirement:
