About Your Client:
Your client is an Australian company that provides business owners with bookkeeping support that's tailored to their specific needs, from accounts payable and receivable processing to payroll, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reviews. This gives owners of small businesses more time to focus on what they love to do and on growing their business.
What You Will Do:
Managing team members' workflows and supporting them with basic queries.
Working directly under the practice owner.
Take responsibility for bank reconciliations
Review P & L statements.
Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Preparing clients' Business Activity Statements (BAS).
Preparing Installment Activity Statements (IAS).
Processing client's payrolls and preparing payroll taxes.
Processing superannuation.
Communicating directly with clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
Worked in a bookkeeping/accounting practice for an Australian business.
Strong knowledge of Australian tax, including GST & PAYG, as well as payroll processes.
Ability and relevant experience in preparing a variety of different business BAS/IAS Statements.
Working knowledge of Australian superannuation.
Must be competent in Xero and hold a Xero advisor certification.
QuickBooks and MYOB experience would be helpful but not essential.
Must be willing to work in our Cebu City office.
Must be flexible about work schedule.
