Our highly respected client is seeking an Bookkeeper with at least 3 years' experience in Australian Taxation and Accounting and is familiar with XERO, MYOB, and Receipt Bank. The job is based in Pasig City, Philippines.
Job summary:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be mainly in charge of General Accounting responsibilities and other relevant Admin works.
Key job responsibilities include:
Maintain emails of client transactions and administrative tasks
Preparation of ATO Lodgements - BAS, IAS & PAYG Summary
Lodgement and payment of Superannuation
Lodgement and payment of Payroll Tax
Declaration of Worker's Compensation
Preparation and issuance of PAYGW Summaries
Preparation of Management Reports
Setting up new accounts
General Accounting, which includes:
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
Customer Invoices and Customer Payments
Maintaining debtor records
Suppliers' bill payments
Maintaining creditor records
Bank account reconciliation
Payroll processing
Depreciation Schedule
Accruals and Prepayments
Code and record transactions
Others: Electronic filing of transaction records; responding to client queries
Key job requirements include:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's / College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or any equivalent field
At least 3 year(s) of work experience in the related field is required
Written and verbal English communication and comprehension
Attention to details, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy management skills (goal setting, prioritization, planning ahead, clear focus, limited procrastination)
Knowledge - Coordination and project management
Use of XERO, MYOB and Receipt Bank
Awareness - Australian Accounting Practices & Taxation
