Qualifications/Job Description: Strong knowledge in bank feeds, when to use automation, setting up bank rules, other best practices Knowledge in QB Desktop to QBO conversions - what steps/best practices to follow Working knowledge of sales transaction workflow in QBO and best practices Working knowledge of purchase transaction workflow in QBO and best practices Working knowledge of bank deposit workflow (undeposited funds, QBO payments etc ) Working knowledge of inventory (buying, selling, managing inventory) Understand the difference between class tracking, customer job costing and location tracking Working knowledge of QBO Projects Custom form templates - ability to use import styles for custom invoice design/set up Working knowledge of customizing reports, setting up customized report templates, management reports, how to use filters to extract data needed Multi-currency knowledge - understand how realized gain/loss works in QBO and how that is triggered Experience with Dext Understand how to set up supplier rules, GST codes, manage auto-publish items Communicate with clients if receipts are not adequate (missing information, wrong type of document etc..) How to set up payment methods, user accounts and other admin functions in Dext Understand Google folders/sharing documents/collaborative work environment Other app knowledge that would be useful: Plooto Jobber Karbon Tsheets Wagepoint Basic bookkeeping fundamentals GST - what is it and when does it apply Difference between expenses and assets How to classify expenses for consistent reporting Understanding the difference between balance sheet and profit and loss statement, 'what goes where and why' Ability to review, analyze basic reports to identify errors, misallocated items, missing information Strong reconciliation skills - ability to correct and identify duplicate transactions, best way to correct from bank feed/ensure supporting documentation is retained from Dext etc. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate directly with clients if needed.
