Job Title: Small Business Bookkeeper and Owner Assistant
Work Hours: Full-Time | 40 Hours a week | Tuesday to Saturday, 4AM to 1PM Philippine Standard Time

Pay Range : $900 - $1,500 per month
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a bookkeeper and personal assistant to the business owner. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, be adept at managing financial records, and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Business Bookkeeping (Using QuickBooks Online):
Weekly:
Accounts Payable: Enter and categorize invoices received.
Monthly:
Expense Reports: Review, verify, and approve expense reports from employees, ensuring all receipts are attached and expenses are valid. Additionally, manage and complete the business owner's expense reports.
Account Reconciliation: Cross-check and match all transactions against bank statements to ensure accuracy.
Financial Statements: Prepare and review the income statement and balance sheet.
Annually:
Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and review of the annual budget.
Tax Compliance: Process and distribute 1099 tax forms to relevant contractors or vendors.
Owner's Personal Bookkeeping (Setup and use QuickBooks Online):
Semi-Monthly:
Invoice Management: Ensure timely payment of personal invoices.
Monthly:
Expense Categorization: Assign GL codes to all personal expenses.
Financial Statements: Prepare and review the personal income statement and balance sheet.
Travel Planning:
Coordinate and book airfare, accommodations, and other travel-related needs for employees.
Propose travel itineraries, ensuring cost-effectiveness and convenience, and finalize bookings upon approval.
Email Management & Research:
Collaboratively manage the owner's email account, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
Draft initial replies to emails and conduct research as required to address email inquiries effectively.
Data Organization:
Create, manage, and update spreadsheets as needed, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Must have proven experience with QuickBooks Online.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet software.
Must Have: In depth knowledge of Quickbooks online.
