We are looking for a senior, skilled, experienced full-time bookkeeper with a minimum of 1-3 years' experience working with Australian Bookkeeping (based in the Philippines with Superior English Language Skills). Please note this is NOT an accounts role, this is a senior bookkeeping role and only highly skilled individuals should apply. Our organisation takes great pride in ensuring clients' books are always up-to-date, accurate and professionally monitored.

Full-time role as an Independent Contractor (no BPO involvement!)
Dayshift schedule (Mon - Fri, 7AM-4PM)
Job Responsibilities:
Practice management and administration duties
Updating Social Media
Sending out client proposals using Better Proposals software
Writing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Onboarding and offboarding clients
Updating our Blog
Bookkeeping Duties
End to end bookkeeping functions using Xero & Hubdoc and MYOB
Processing in or using other software as required (ie: Asana, Office 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams)
Catch Up Bookkeeping
BAS preparation
Balance Sheet reconciliation
Profit and Loss reviews
Cash Flow forecasting
Process payments of suppliers' invoices (AP)
Initiate collection on past-due accounts (AR)
The hours are around 38 hours per week. This is a long-term career opportunity & we will review wages and conditions after a trial period.

The suitable candidate will fit the following selection criteria:
Philippines location
Fast, reliable internet & good electricity
Hardware and reliable computer setup
Superior English language skills, written and verbal (this is a must)
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Australian bookkeeping and payroll experience
Advance knowledge of Xero, & MYOB
Ability to use internet banking including but not limited to CBA, ANZ, and NAB
Knowledge of asana, microsoft office
All suitable candidates will be subject to an interview with skills and language testing
No moonlighting, this is a full-time job, you cannot service clients outside our practice (you'll work solely for us & be 100% focused around our practice)
Accounting or Bookkeeping Qualification
Advanced Touch Typing (on home keys)
Advanced Keypad Data Entry Speed and Proficiency
Intermediate to Advanced Payroll skills
National Crime Check (or willingness to obtain one)
References from your last 5 years of employment
Additional Requirements
Personal equipment (laptop at least corei5/desktop)
Reliable, stable and high-speed internet
Work Environment: Be able to work privately (you're accessing confidential financial information) during work hours
