Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Required language(s): English
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Australian Taxation, Proficiency in Xero Application
Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
Key areas of Responsibility:
The Bookkeeper / Accountant will be accountable to the Customer Managing Director
Maintaining the data capture and input for financial reports, ensuring accuracy, and addressing noted discrepancies.
Maintaining and auditing company financial records for errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending
Demonstrating knowledgeable and experience management in bookkeeping, ATO taxes (Australian Taxation Office), government audits, and financial planning
Ensuring the accuracy of financial records, investments, expenditures, and revenues are filed without discrepancy
Providing general financial management assistance to the company, forecast revenue and analyze budgets for variances
Research and analyze company's financial reports, create concrete financial plans wherein they can provide recommendations on how the company is able to save money
Adhering to a strict code of ethics and give the company ethical financial advice, which guarantees financial stability for the company.
Essential Criteria:
The Bookkeeper / Accountant is expected to have demonstrated achievement and capability in the following areas:
Previous experience with a complete understanding of Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Guidelines
Ability to submit BAS & GST reports on behalf of the customer to Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
· Proficiency in Accounting systems and processes - specifically XERO Software
Excellent English communication skills - Written & Verbal
A broad understanding of the requirements of a small to medium size business
