Reports to the sales supervisor and is responsible for selling various frozen meat pork, chicken, and beef products. Receive and process incoming online sales orders. Duties include informing customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, and delays; preparing invoices; and handling complaints. Collecting cash and check payments from customers will also be needed. Coordinates with Marketing department regarding social media management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
1. Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective online customers. Communicate with customers through phone, e-mails and chats. Make inbound and outbound calls to sell company products and to be responsible for all online sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.
2. Update customer database with contact details and interest information from prospective customers. Identify and contact potential customers for business opportunities.
3. Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships.
4. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
5. Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally. Work independently or in a team to achieve monthly sales quota. Inform customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays.
6. Prepare and submits customer sales orders to operations in a timely manner.
7. Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
8. Keep up to date with the latest trends and changes in the market and supply management with market information, item pricing, customer needs, problems, competitor activities, and possible new products.
9. Adjust inventory records to reflect product movement. Notify departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies.
10. Coordinate sales efforts within team members and other departments. Direct specified departments or units to prepare and ship orders to designated locations.
11. Promote content on social media. Update website content as needed. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
12. Performs other sales tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Credit and Collection
1. Obtaining on-time cash and check deposit and balance of payment from clients.
2. Resolving discrepancies in invoices and balances.
3. Answer client questions regarding credit terms and collection processes.
4. Performs other credit and collection tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
1. Bachelor's degree of any course
2. Competency in MS office applications and internet messaging applications
3. Must have at least one-year relevant work experience in sales of fast-moving consumer goods or frozen meat
4. Able to ride a motorcycle with license is a plus
5. Must be comfortable working in going to various wet market locations at different times of the day
6. Experience in selling to informal businesses like wet market stalls, sari-sari stores, small meat shops, and backyard processors a huge plus
7. Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
8. Must be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization
9. Strong ethics and high level of personal integrity
10. Detail-oriented
11. Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
