This position is based in Ireland.Repairs damaged vehicle bodies and applies paint finishes to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition or for customization. This includes dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, sanding, priming, and color matching.Key Duties:
Assess vehicle damage and plan repair strategies for bodywork.
Perform panel beating, dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs.
Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, priming, masking).
Mix and apply automotive paints, clear coats, and protective finishes.
Color match paint to existing vehicle finish.
Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive body repair and painting.
Proven experience as a body and paint technician.
Proficiency with various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and paint spraying equipment.
Knowledge of automotive structural repair and painting techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to match colors accurately.
Physical dexterity and ability to work in various positions.
Valid driver's license.
