Includes but not limited to the following:
Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for railway signalling projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction teams to integrate signalling designs into overall project models.
Coordinate BIM processes across multidisciplinary teams, facilitating communication and workflow efficiencies.
Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within models to ensure smooth project execution.
Support the development and implementation of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organisation.
Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes related to signalling.
Assist in the preparation of documentation, reports, and presentations related to BIM models and project progress.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements in BIM and signalling.
Convert BIM shop drawings to CAD for as-built submission and work in AutoCAD as needed.
Perform site visits to verify design implementation, assess constructability, and ensure alignment between BIM models and actual site conditions.
ProfileEducational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; relevant certification in BIM preferred.Desired Knowledge / Experience
3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, specifically within railway signalling or related infrastructure projects.
Proficient in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and other relevant engineering tools.
Strong understanding of railway signalling systems, standards, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
