The role:
Cardno now Stantec is currently looking for a Revit Modeler/drafter who will be responsible for the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets using software tools such as Revit and knowledgeable in Navisworks. The position, will work with engineers, designers, project managers, contractors and clients to develop and deliver the quality detailed design to our internal and external clients.
Your responsibilities will include -
Carry out technical Revit operations in accordance with the company standards and any specific project requirements.
Creates detailed model (Architectural, Structural and Mechanical) to be used in the planning and construction phase of projects.
Creates 2D drawings for Structural and Civil plans, sections and details
Ability to work within a team and produce high quality work and meet deadlines.
Coordinates activities concerned with technical issues in co-ordination with Project owner, scheduling and budgeting of project modelling.
Create and provide regular feedback loops to Project Management.
Drive engineering excellence and ensure team is delivering high-quality results.
Anticipate, plan, and effectively work to resolve future challenges.
Implementation of BIM best practices and procedures
Provide a clear communication (written and verbal) to team members from project kick off to project completion and regular updates.
Other task as assigned by Project Manager / Team Lead
About you
To be successful you will display -
You must have 5+ years of AutoCAD and Revit experience
Experience in Navisworks Manage
Knowledgeable of all Project design stages
Knowledgeable of creating parametric families and manipulating of parameters and schedules
Proven track record of successful project delivery
Experience guiding continuous improvement of process and technology
You must have strong written and oral communication skills
A willingness to continue self-development through continuous learning and training.
Exposure in handling Australian projects is an advantage
Knowledgeable in other BIM software is an advantage (BENTLEY, DYNAMO, LUMION, VRAY, etc.)
