This position is responsible for investigating, recovering and resolving all patient claims as well as recovery and resolution of different patient responsibility scenarios. May include initiating telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather data to resolve concerns. May conduct investigations/escalations to review medical history.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise a team of associates
Assist in developing and streamlining procedures in the business
Coach, motivate, reward, counsel and assist with disciplinary actions as necessary
Provide quality service to both internal and external customers - on and off-line.
Assist associates with customer interaction on situations requiring special handling - take customer calls
Ensure open flow of communication between associates, supervisors and management.
Supervise and monitor agent attendance, performance and productivity, service level standards
Prepare and ensure accuracy of reports
Ensure agents are continuously kept abreast of operational changes
Conduct employee briefings and meetings
Monitor system performance and initiate actions to correct system problems
Assist in the development and tracking of employee incentive programs
Ensure completion of departmental duties/task in the absence of subordinates/co-workers
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies, and contract compliance
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
College Graduate
At least 1 year of Customer Service experience in a Call Center / BPO setting / NPS experience analyzing and solving customer problems
Stable work experience
Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office products. Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
Understanding or willing to learn Revenue Cycle Management
Demonstrates effective, clear and professional written and oral communication
- Can pass CAT test with a minimum score of 2.4
- Can pass the Aptitude test with a minimum score of x
- Can pass Domain (Operations) Final Interview
Can type 35-40WPM with 85% accuracy
Keen Eye for Detail, Creative, Resourceful and Committed
Ability to multi-task - this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
Ability to remain focused and productive each day through multiple tasks
Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1year of Healthcare BPO team handling experience in Claims, Benefits, and Eligibility
