A Billing Specialist is responsible for assisting our Finance Department by completing a variety of administrative tasks focused around accurate and timely billing to our customers.
Running necessary business reports and collating the data as needed
Accurately and completely completing billing files and while working closely with the Accounts Payable team
Timely follow up for internal/external inquiries
Submitting necessary documentation to our vendor partners/responding to inquires in a timely fashion
Completing billings for vendor partnerships
Completing internal department billings for customer orders
Assisting on special projects when needed
Performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
A proven ability to work with multiple systems and large amounts of data
The ability to work independently and within a team environment
Solid computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be fluent in English)
The ability to complete tasks accurately and on-time
Ongoing flexibility and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our sales, business, and finance groups
Demonstrated track record of similar experience and 4-year degree preferred
Excellent time management, prioritization, problem solving, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
The ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Knowledge of U.S. retailers and consumer products a plus
Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
