Job DescriptionThe Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end billing operations within the logistics department, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely invoicing for transport, warehousing, and distribution services. This role works closely with operations, finance, and sales teams to validate billing data, maintain compliance with client requirements, and ensure financial accuracy. The Billing Manager is also expected to lead process improvements that optimize billing workflows and support overall business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the billing team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of all logistics services.Coordinate with operations, accounting, and sales teams to verify billing data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation.Review client contracts and ensure billing aligns with agreed terms, service levels, and delivered outputs.Monitor accounts receivable, assist in reconciliation efforts, and support collection activities when necessary.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.Prepare and maintain billing reports for management review.Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and audit standards.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in billing, finance, or accounting rolespreferably within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Effective leadership, communication, and team management capabilities.Proficient in ERP systems, billing platforms, and advanced MS Excel.
