The Billing Manager oversees the end-to-end billing operations within the logistics department, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, efficient coordination with operations and finance teams, and compliance with client requirements and company policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and optimizing billing processes for transport, warehousing, and distribution services.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the billing team to ensure on-time and accurate invoicing of logistics services.
Coordinate with operations, accounting, and sales teams to validate billing data and resolve discrepancies.
Review client contracts and ensure proper billing based on agreed terms and service delivery.
Monitor accounts receivable and assist in reconciliation and collection efforts.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in billing or finance roles, preferably in logistics or supply chain industries.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.
