Job Description:We are seeking a service-oriented Billing Customer Service Representative with a strong background in radiology billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of insurance and patient billing, and experience handling patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.Key Responsibilities:
Respond to patient inquiries regarding bills, insurance claims, and payment status
Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and effectively explain them to patients
Manage patient billing, collections, and payment processing
Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve claim issues and discrepancies
Utilize billing software (with MergeRIS experience strongly preferred) to process and track billing activities
Provide accurate and timely customer support to patients, ensuring a positive service experience
Assist with reporting, reconciliation, and documentation of billing activities
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing and customer service
Radiology billing experience required
Proficiency with MergeRIS; familiarity with Imagine software is a plus
Strong knowledge of patient billing, insurance claims, EOBs, and collections
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Compassionate, patient-focused, and service-driven mindset
Work-from-Home Device Requirement:
Device: Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
Internet: Wired connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed, plus a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or prepaid Wi-Fi)
Work Environment: Quiet, well-lit space with minimal background noise
