Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and reconcile monthly WESM settlement statements with various Supply Contracts, Actual metered quantities and WESM trading activities, in close coordination with the Energy TradingTeam.
Prepareand disseminatetimely and accurate monthly energy billings of Customers, and monitor receivables from relevant accounts.
Assess monthly energy billings statements of Suppliers, in close coordination with Energy Trading Team, and prepare andclosely monitor processing of relevant payables.
Maintain and update energy settlement records/database and prepare internal reports, as necessary.
Collaborateand maintain interface with relevant internalstakeholders such asFinance and Accounting Group, and Energy Trading Teamto carry out tasks on a timely manner.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, as deemed necessary, such as the IEMOP, Electric Cooperatives/Distribution Utilities, Generation Companies, in relation to billings and settlement matters.
Keep abreast ofand ensure compliance to relevant rules and regulations and changes therein in the Power sectorwhich may affect billing and settlement transactions.
Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of Engineering, Accounting or any related Business course.
Experience in the Power/Energy sector is preferred, but not required.
Has proven experience in financial reporting and accounting.
Has strong quantitative and analytical skills, strong financial background and logical skills.
Must be knowledgeable in MS Excel.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Results-oriented, resourceful and able to handle the pace and demands of a start-up company.
