JOB DESCRIPTION:
Install Bicycles, adjust speeds and gear mechanisms
Assemble new bicycles
Align Wheels
Repair and replace equipment or accessories such as handle bars, stands, lights and seats, brake levers , shifter levers and brakes. Perform chain check and replacement
Disassemble axles in order to repair, adjust and replace defective parts, using hand tools
Repair holes in tire tubes using scrapers and patches.
Weld broken or cracked frames together
Take notes of all work done on bicycles and update inventory of the shop
Provide feedback as part of the mechanic and office team
Act as Sales Associate on Bikes Displayed and is expected to make recommendations to customers.
