The Bid and Project Manager (BPM) is expected to take a lead, manage and coordinate the pursuit of new opportunities and submission of high quality and successful bids. The BPM is also expected to be able to manage and / or support the implementation of awarded projects until their successful completion. Your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting NIRAS Asia Manila's portfolio growth:
Supporting and leading the management of bids and proposals from identification through to submission;
Administration of internal tool for managing tender pipeline and experts' database
Developing strategic partnerships and consortium arrangements on bids;
Leading and assisting the drafting and composition of bids, proposals, presentations, and concept notes;
Support development of budgets and corresponding financial proposals
Ensuring delivery of quality services through high-quality Project Management:
Manage and/or assist in the management of NIRAS newly awarded or ongoing projects, including
technical, operational and financial viability, client reporting,
partner and expert management
application of NIRAS management systems and QA procedures;
Coordinating internal and external communications and visibility with NIRAS communications team;
Ensuring client and project team satisfaction;

We are looking for a growth-minded well-organised, ambitious and results-oriented BPM to join the NIRAS International Development Consulting Team in Manila in our work to pursue the Sustainable Development Goals with our clients and clients and partners in the Asia Pacific Region. We prioritize prior experience of NIRAS's key clients (ADB, AFD, EU, DFAT, USAID) and technical competence in the field of international cooperation and development.

To ensure you're a suitable candidate, we would like you to hold the following:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in an academic area relevant to NIRAS' work (e.g. international relations, economics, business administration, environmental studies, social sciences, engineering);
5+ years of relevant work experience in the development consulting sector in the Philippines and/or in the region; preferably in NIRAS' core sectors including but not limited to: natural resources management, environment, climate change, agriculture, gender and social inclusion, water and urban development, institutional development, MEL;
Strong experience in winning competitive bids in public sector procurements for international development financiers; strong experience with the ADB is highly desirable;
Demonstrated project management and/or implementation experience, preferably for/with the ADB;
Strong business acumen, with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit;
Excellent written and oral English language skills; fluency in Tagalog will be considered an asset;
Knowledge of the Philippines and international and local development organisations will be considered an asset;
Outstanding attitude and work ethic, accustomed to working under pressure towards tight deadlines
A 100% team player, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and taking initiative with success.
