Your Role and Responsibilities
Trusted client advisor and a go-getter on all Benefits Design matters. A curious disruptor with a positive attitude, who is helping to design and develop IBM benefits programs that are essential, innovative, promote enhanced employee experience and anticipate workforce needs, aligned with the IBM business landscape.
Benefits programs include health benefits, retirement plans, life insurance, company cars, leaves, financial wellbeing programs and other ancillary benefits for all countries in [name of the region(s).
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead with local consultants and brokers renewal of insured benefit offerings. Promote roll out of insured policies into IBM Global Underwriting.
- Support employees benefits program review based on market trends research, data-driven insights through analysis of workforce needs, benefits usage, cost analysis, etc.
- Develop business case supporting benefit design changes.
- Ensure alignment of benefits programs to country legislative updates and IBM's changing business needs.
- Promote meaningful employee choice, flexibility, cost sharing and tax efficiency in the design of benefits.
- Identify wellbeing programs proven to mitigate top financial, social, mental and physical health risk concerns of IBM employees
- Promote employee centric, timely, meaningful communication, education and awareness of benefit offerings, using cognitive solutions whereas applicable.
- Support Audits and help ensure business controls compliance of benefit programs
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in English
At least 5 years' experience in HR benefits or consulting on benefits
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong consulting and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and cross functional teams
Strong analytical skills with an expertise in analysing complex data and converting into meaningful insights
Ability to collaborate seamlessly across functions including legal, finance, business unit leaders, local teams and external consultants and advisors
Ability to communicate in a clear and compelling manner aligned with audience
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times with the ability to prioritize work when there are competing demands and urgent business needs
