Job Description
- Read drawings, work orders and schedule to determine job instructions and specifications
- Examine and measure work for defects to ensure conformance with specifications
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, overhaul and repair of fixed plant and equipment associated with the processes of mining and industry
- Operates machines to manufacture rubber products such as tyres. Specialisations: Rubber Belt Splicer
- Suitable level of experience and knowledge in material handling for conveyors and related components, working as a belt splicer.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment and / or defective materials or products and notify appropriate supervisors.
Experience in troubleshooting operational issues for conveyors, rigging, operating winches and winders.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
Strong experience in Belt Splicing (Hot and Cold)
- Experience working in a mine site, - Work Safety at Heights, Mining Industry Experience
- Flexible and cooperative team attitude, - Confined space
