Backend Developer
My client is a Manila based B2B iGaming Aggregator comprised of veterans in the software industry. With years of experience behind them, they take pride in being an innovative company with big ideas. Their software platform, expertise and existing integrations with 3rd party providers are a guarantee to be a one stop shop for businesses within the APAC region.
This candidate must have a solution-oriented knowledge that makes it easy to extend and give feedback to our teams on how to improve code. He or she needs to be a supportive part of the process to put new products onto the market. He or she does not need to be a hardcore software architect, but does have an understanding how things are built and why.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of working experience as a backend/full stack developer
Expert in PHP 7.2+, NodeJS and at least one PHP MVC framework (Laravel preferred)
Work with MySQL, MongoDB, JavaScript (ECMAScript 6), JQuery, XML and/or JSON
Writes clear, readable and maintainable code, takes ownership of the quality and usability of code
Familiar with modern software architectures and/or RESTful API-driven development
Prior experience in agile development
Excellent communication in the English language (written & spoken)
Good problem-solving skills
Team player
Good working attitude
Optional Requirements that can give an edge:
Consuming other types of API (e.g. SOAP, GraphQL) with different authentication systems (Basic auth, Oauth 1/2)
Parsing XML/Tree-structured data
Frontend development using VueJS, NuxtJS, ReactJS, or AngularJS
HTML5, CSS, SASS
Familiar with GIT and Linux basic command
