Our client is looking for a NodeJS Developer, an exciting opportunity in one of Oceania's fastest-growing companies. If you love being challenged, working in a diverse, collaborative team this is the role for you!
We are on the lookout for an experienced NodeJS Developer to help develop a suite of products for one of our clients. You will be working alongside a team of developers to help us deliver and evolve features on behalf of our client. You will be well supported in a team-first environment.
While you will be working predominantly on one project, there is huge opportunity to grow. Whether that is becoming an Ace specialised developer, or a team leader, over time your skills will develop and we enjoy investing in our people. You will be reporting directly to your team leader in New Zealand.
Experience You'll Need to Be Successful:
3+ years of work experience as a NodeJS developer in Typescript
Solid understanding of REST API principles
Experience with key-value based database. Extra points for Dynamo DB
Debugging, writing, and optimizing SQL queries
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Nice to have
Experience with Serverless framework
AWS Cloud services (Lamda functions)
Associate / Supervisor IT and Software BPO 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
