We are a Transportation Brokerage firm. We have been in business for 11 years now. We specialize in managing freight movements of food from the USA to Canada and vise versa. We as well service inter-canada shipments. We are not limited to food shipments but that is our main focus.
Job Description
A B2B lead generator would be responsible for researching and sourcing new shippers that currently ship from the USA to Canada, engaging their shipping departments to gather information on where they ship to and how often. Ideally getting and being able to contact the key decision maker to arrange a meeting with for our internal team to then discuss rates and quoting.
Qualifications
Would be Nice Features
Very good business research skill in terms of finding shippers with freight to Canada. Great English and communications skills are a necessity as initial conversation would be over the phone. Have access to and understand how to use Zoom/Google Meets/Microsoft Team. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to take no and move on.
Daily activities
Getting a city from our internal team to research on and using google find companies to call and approach about shipping opportunities. Tracking calls and follows ups and setting appointments when required.
