Description
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
PRE-SALES
Translate customer requirements into functional AV system designs
Develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings and calculations.
Generate Bill of materials of functional AV system design
Provide material and labour estimates for projects
Generate functional system descriptions and block diagrams
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
Review pre-construction design and documentation
Identify all cabling and miscellaneous material needs
Provide engineering support to project installation team when needed
Perform system testing and calibration for proper performance that will include; execute documented test procedures both in house and on site, load, and calibration of video and audio equipment to meet customer requirements.
Write, load, configure, and EQ Basic Control & complex DSP source files.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
At least 1 year of experience in design or commissioning technical audio visual systems. Experience with AV system design, system configuration, and installations.
Experience with audio visual test equipment and software, as well as experience with design tasks and system performance criteria during pilot phases of product development.
Demonstrated knowledge of AV, IT, and networking hardware and software.
