Responsible in automating tests of large-scale projects and implementing automation best practices
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support and monitor Test Engineers in their test automation activities
Apply and share effective automation tools and techniques for all projects
Participate in QA effort estimation, requirement analysis, and test plan review
Create, maintain, and execute test cases
Setup and apply needed test data based on test cases created
Create and maintain automation scripts for projects
Perform various types of testing not limited to: system testing, API Testing, - Security Testing, retesting, regression, and integration testing
Create bug or improvement tickets when an anomaly is found in the product
Monitor the deployed app in production and advise production team for any pressing inquiries/issues
Apply automation best practices throughout the organization
Automate all projects which were not yet automated in the past
Revise automation scripts of those poorly automated projects
Comply in all project's automation schedules
Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
Required qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Quality Management, Computer Science, or such.
3-5 years of experience in software testing
At least 3 years of experience in automation scripting and testing preferably using Sikuli, AutoIt, Selenium Webdriver, or Selenium ID
Coding and scripting skills using javascript
In-depth knowledge in web elements, selectors, and paths
Automation tool and task troubleshooting skills
Ability to perform complex system testing
Strong test design skills
Expert judgment on good and bad test cases
Ability to produce best practices for automation activities
Produce quick, concise, and reusable automation scripts
Ability to provide quick and high-quality automation result
Creative thinking
Strong communication skills to support interactions with other members of the QA and development team
