Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining Test Automation Framework
- Execution of automated test scripts and tracking reported defects
- Execution of regression testing using the automated test scripts
- Assist Dev team in executing automated regression during urgent releases
- Reporting and following up on defect resolution
- Assist Test team in preparation of test data and reviewing tickets
- Concise documentation of technical procedures and user guides
- Critical thinking on how to handle complex scenarios and come up with a possible solution
- Experience in creating automation test scripts/projects from scratch
- Contribute to the existing automation project for improvement
Required Experience
- More than 5 years of experience in Software Testing, and between 3-5 years of automation testing
A Successful Candidate must have
- Ability to learn new automation tool (AccelQ)
- Actual experience in designing & developing either Functional or API automation scripts using any automation tool
- Background in the development process
- Basic knowledge of the Principles of OOP and how they work
- Basic knowledge of any programming language, structure, and logic
- Able to work independently but must be able to collaborate with Manual Test Team and Development Team
- Good understanding and experience with agile development methodologies
- Actual experience in automated deployment via CI/CD to integrate it on a working automation project
- Prior experience or interest to work with teams composed of different nationalities
- Self-driven attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt in work from home setup
