Job Purpose
To develop, maintain and support applications and databases based on customer requirements. This includes analysis, review and revision of programs to increase operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Develop programs and systems that meet business requirements.
Create and update manuals as per requirements of document management.
Analyse, review and alter programs to increase system efficiency.
Support in-house systems within the GSC and ensure smooth operation.
Conducts investigations as necessary to determine preventive actions and drive improvement in the different systems and programs utilized by the GSC.
Coordinate with various teams within the GSC, centre teams and LSC teams as necessary to effectively implement of new and system enhancements.
Identify and generate data to be used for reports analysis.
Identify process improvements and deliver agreed process efficiency/effectiveness.
Prepare and analyse Key Reports and Metric dashboards to be made available to all relevant stakeholders.
Develop, implement and maintain key automation requirements in the GSC.
Escalation of critical issues to manager to help reach a quick resolution.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
At least 5 years in similar experience in developing and supporting automation systems implementation.
Experience in accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable processes in a blue-chip multinational environment is a plus.
Computer Science, Computer Engineering graduate or equivalent.
5+ years with Visual Basic and Web Developer.
Expert level in MS Office Development and MS Excel.
Excellent skills in new system or enhancement implementation.
Strong problem solving, root cause and improvement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate well with others and teams to attain an objective or project completion.
Self-starter who can work with direction but little supervision.
Solid organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and multitask in a demanding environment.
Team builder. Recognises the importance of the team.
Knowledge of billing, customer payments, collections and/or accounts payable processes is a plus.
Willingness to go beyond the job description to meet business goals.
