Position Summary
As a core member of the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence you will support the team in Robotics Process Automation. The candidate should have previous experience in working with testing and operations work in RPA technologies such as Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, etc. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with a strong ability to prioritize, own testing deliverables/timelines, understand control room monitoring and clearly and effectively communicate results with the team. Success in this role demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities, while demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing testing of existing and new automations including but not limited to developing test cases (positive and negative paths), working with team to gather test data needed, E2E testing, regression testing and tracking/reporting on test results. This position requires detailed documentation and ability to clearly report on results and/or defects as appropriate. A working knowledge of JIRA is expected. A general understanding of Agile project lifecycle is beneficial. Along with testing automation, the role focusses on providing operational support to automation processes running in production. The candidate will be expected to monitor RPA jobs and engage relevant teams in case of any production failure.
Specific Responsibilities
Actively participate in reviewing user requirements to develop test cases
Develop manual test cases for both positive and negative test paths
Work with team to gather required test data
Track test results and defects throughout testing lifecycle
Document test cases and test results in Silk Central
Track status of user stories in JIRA
Complete regressions testing for maintenance/enhancements
Assist existing operations team in monitoring bots in production
Perform periodic VDI validation during patch upgrades
Provide production support during working hours as needed
Provide proactive feedback on potential issues to enable correction of potential quality issues
Independently managing multiple projects based on provided priorities to complete testing and provide feedback within given timelines
Qualifications
Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience either working in or testing with RPA technologies (Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, etc
Strong experience in operation and production support of automations in production
Ability to implement escalation management procedures in case of bot failures
Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
Proficient with JIRA, Excel, and Silk Central
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates good interactions with developers, managers, and team members to coordinate job tasks and strong commitment to work.
Possesses ability to work efficiently in both independent and teamwork environments.
Understands principles of in Agile framework
